Fruity Carrot Juice

Carrots are known to be excellent for vision, so they are good for growing children. They can also be helpful with focus, concentration, and fighting off illness. However, carrot juice isn’t the tastiest juice for kids. So you want to start with your carrots, then add in some fruit to sweeten it up, such as apples and oranges.

Morning Citrus Juice

Instead of giving your kids a glass of orange juice from concentrate that you bought in the store, consider making your own citrus juice. Store-bought juice, even when listed as organic, is not fresh and often contains extra sugar. Fruit already has sugar, so it is really not necessary. Instead of that, make your own citrus juice by combining oranges and grapefruit. This juice gives you tons of antioxidants and vitamin C, both of which can help fight off illnesses and infections. You can also add other citrus fruits like lemons and limes.

Sweet Kale Juice

Green juice is often made with kale since it has a mild flavor that is easily covered up by sweet fruit, but it is also very nutritious and a great way for your kids to have their daily amount of greens. To make it tasty, start with a handful of kale in the juicer, then add a citrus fruit, such as lemon or lime. You can then add in a tropical fruit like mango or papaya, and finish off with some of your kids’ favorite berries.

Lemon Peach Juice

The last recipe also uses carrots as the primary vegetable ingredient. You can also add in a little bit of kale or spinach if you want to turn this into a green juice. In addition to your veggies, add in a few peaches to juice, along with lemon and some fresh basil.
